A proposal targets the scratch buffer size in x/net/http2's writeRequestBody, aiming to reduce per-request memory overhead during HTTP/2 uploads. The current buffer allocation in writeRequestBody is larger than necessary for typical uplink workloads. The proposal argues that shrinking it reduces memory pressure without measurable throughput impact, relevant for services handling high volumes of concurrent HTTP/2 outbound requests. https://lnkd.in/dTGQKkjQ #golang #softwareengineering #programming
