Safety doesn't happen by chance. It happens when people look out for one another. 💙 Over the past few weeks, the Health & Safety Days and Health & Safety Weeks across many GMH Gruppe sites have demonstrated exactly that. Whether at #Georgsmarienhütte, #Mannstaedt, #Schmiedag, #PleissnerGuss, #GMHRecycling, #StahlJudenburg, or in our training workshop, one message was at the heart of every event: taking shared responsibility for the health and safety of our people. More importantly, one thing became clear: A strong safety culture is built not only on rules and procedures, but on the commitment of every single individual. We are especially proud to see that this commitment is making a real difference: May 2026 was the first month in the history of GMH Gruppe without a single reportable workplace accident across all of our sites. A #milestone that could only be achieved together. Further milestones underline this achievement: Georgsmarienhütte GmbH reached more than 600 consecutive days without a lost-time accident, while GMH Recycling celebrated one full year without a workplace accident. 👏 These successes are no coincidence. They are the result of awareness, mutual trust, and the daily commitment of our employees. Thank you to everyone who brings our safety culture to life every day.
