A good friend of GLOW sent us this 1919 Spanish Flu Pandemic poster by May Gibbs. ​Today, especially when in Melbourne we are trying to come to terms with the necessary move to Stage 4 restrictions, this 101-year-old beautiful and poignant illustration is remarkably relevant. ​May Gibbs' illustration reminds us that we have been here before, by acting together as one community and looking after one another we will succeed and get beyond this COVID 19 Pandemic. ​So as we go about our lives and adjust remember to ask each other family, friends, neighbours, service people, strangers... 'Hullo! How are you?' ​We are truly stronger together. Stay well. Stay safe. Stay connected. ​ 🙏🙏🙏
