What happens when customers start asking AI to do the shopping for them? 💡 At Glovo, we launched official integrations with ChatGPT and Claude to meet the customers where they are expecting us. But to provide an excellent experience at Glovo through AI, our teams pushed hard to overcome the tech challenges that such an integration entailed. By building our new Discover MCP service, we managed to: 👉 Drop round-trip AI wait times from 30s to under 5s. 👉 Keep user data strictly private (anonymized coordinates only, zero PII hitting LLM providers). 👉 Keep prices and deep links 100% deterministic preventing the LLM from hallucinating data. It’s a practical look into how we are navigating the "Agentic Era" of on-demand ordering.
