📣We are pleased to welcome Alex Hoffmann and Jakob Brebbia Dirksen to GlobalConnect’s Corporate Leadership Team. Both are stepping into new roles at a pivotal time, as we scale our business and strengthen our position as the trusted partner for business-critical connectivity. The appointments will take effect from May 1 and are part of a change in our overall structure to create more focused commercial business lines and better leverage synergies across our infrastructure. With Alexander leading a new combined Tech, IT & Security unit and Jakob heading our new Infrastructure Delivery & Operations unit, we are bringing key capabilities closer together and sharpening our focus across both infrastructure and customer-facing solutions. A key part of this change is enabling our B2B business to fully focus on customers, solutions and growth. By consolidating all underlay infrastructure delivery in Jakob’s new unit, B2B will take full ownership of the end-to-end customer offering – strengthening our ability to develop and deliver secure, high-performance connectivity solutions. Technology, IT and Security will be brought together under Alexander’s leadership and elevated to CLT level to ensure stronger alignment with the business and support key priorities such as network transformation, AI adoption and security. As part of these changes, the current NetCo unit will be split across the new business units. Per Morten Torvildsen will step down from his role as EVP of NetCo and return to the Board of Directors at GlobalConnect, as originally planned when he joined the CLT from the Board in 2023.
