Stop guessing your network equipment’s carbon footprint. ESG reporting has shifted from a compliance exercise to business strategy. Yet, when it comes to IT infrastructure, many organizations still rely on broad estimations and averages when reporting emissions. Now companies can get precise data and take control of emissions from network equipment. We have launched a tool within our Mint customer portal - where users monitor and control their network services - that connects network data directly with emission data. Instead of rough estimates, you can now track the exact CO2 footprint of your network hardware down to a specific device and location. “With the Carbon Calculator, our customers no longer have to rely on rough estimates. Instead, they can see the actual carbon footprint of their network equipment in the customer portal - down to the individual site and equipment level. What makes this tool different is that it uses the real infrastructure already in place at each customer site as the data source. That level of visibility and transparency transforms ESG reporting from a compliance exercise into something customers can actually act on," says Juhee Kim Product Owner, Mint Customer Portal. Why this matters: 🛜 Device Based Precision: Using your actual infrastructure as a direct data source ensures simpler, highly accurate ESG reporting. Calculations include both the product's manufacturing footprint and expected energy consumption based on local emission factors. 💡 Actionable Insights: Monitor the real-time climate impact of your tech decisions, whether you are upgrading hardware or extending equipment lifecycles. Norway is the first market to get access to this feature, with the rest of the Nordics following soon.
