GlobalConnect sharpens its focus in Germany. As part of our strategic emphasis on B2C investments in the Nordics, GlobalConnect is taking the next step in reprioritizing its activities in Germany by divesting its B2C business there. Moving forward, NordConnect GmbH will take over responsibility for the FTTH network currently serving residential customers in the Hamburg and Kiel areas. The agreement ensures a seamless continuation of services for existing customers. All affected customers will be informed well in advance about the planned transfer, which is expected to take place in the second half of 2026. At the same time, GlobalConnect will sharpen its focus in Germany and concentrate exclusively on business customers and carriers. Demand for secure, resilient and high-capacity digital infrastructure continues to grow, driven by cloud adoption, AI applications, data centers and increasing connectivity needs. With our extensive expertise in building and operating fiber infrastructure, we are well positioned to support businesses, carriers and hyperscalers on their digital transformation journey. We would like to thank our residential customers for their trust and wish NordConnect GmbH every success in continuing to deliver high-quality connectivity services. This agreement marks another step in our ambition to build the digital backbone of Northern Europe and enable innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable growth across the region.
