🌎The World Economic Forum has published Youth Pulse 2026, our flagship report capturing how young people are navigating a period of profound global transformation. https://lnkd.in/e2urBMdh Drawing on insights from nearly 4,600 young people across 464 locations worldwide, the report offers both a clear snapshot of youth priorities today and a practical compass for leaders shaping what comes next. Several signals stand out: ⚖️ Inequality is the leading economic concern, with 48.2% citing the growing gap between rich and poor as a defining trend shaping the future. 💵 Financial strain is the top source of stress, named by 57.2% of respondents. 🧑‍🎓 When asked about political priorities, we see a strong focus on job creation, equal access to quality education, and pathways to affordable housing and financial independence. 🏦Political ambition is rising, as 36% say they are likely to run for political office, challenging narratives of disengagement. ✅ Trust is earned locally, with community leaders rated as the most effective drivers of positive change, above business leaders and Heads of state. 🌊 Climate remains the defining global concern, even amid economic pressure. 🤝 Belonging matters, with 95% emphasizing the importance of intentionally designed youth communities as spaces for learning, growth, and dialogue.
