The United States has carried out a seventh consecutive night of airstrikes against Iran, expanding the campaign beyond military sites into critical infrastructure. U.S. Central Command confirmed the use of warships, drones and fighter jets to strike Iranian surveillance networks, ammunition depots and transit paths. The latest wave also damaged bridges in Hormozgan province and destroyed a strategic maritime surveillance tower at Chabahar Port. Iran responded by launching drones and missiles at U.S. military facilities and allied states across the region, including Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar. Qatari air defenses intercepted incoming threats, while Jordan said it shot down multiple missiles entering its airspace. The escalation is now affecting global trade and energy markets. Commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has been severely disrupted, while Brent crude moved above $86 a barrel.
