A large-scale Ukrainian drone wave struck Moscow Oblast overnight, reportedly setting fire to an oil depot and a major commercial fulfillment center east of the Russian capital. Local residents captured smoke rising from an oil depot in Noginsk, roughly 50 kilometers from the Kremlin. Later in the morning, a second major fire broke out at a Wildberries fulfillment center in Elektrostal. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed Russian air defenses faced more than 370 Ukrainian drones launched toward the capital region, with 64 shot down on approach. Ukraine’s military has not officially commented on the operation, and the full scale of damage remains unconfirmed. The strike fits a broader Ukrainian deep-strike campaign against Russian industrial, military and energy infrastructure, aimed at pressuring fuel logistics and wartime economic capacity.
