This morning we're celebrating an outstanding set of wins for Global’s Newsroom - which includes LBC and LBC News - at the Commercial Radio News Awards. Let's start with a special shout out to Tim John who took home the highest honour of the night, the IRN Gold Award, in recognition of his career in commercial radio and extraordinary impact on our industry. Since stepping back from the mic, Tim has helped shape the future of radio journalism, launching LBC News in 2019 and taking the UK’s only national rolling news radio station from concept to reality. As well as Tim's accolade and multiple nominations, we picked up three of the biggest prizes of the night.
