Over the last three years, Nordex Group — led by CEO José Luis Blanco — has quietly signed 19 deals worth roughly 2.7 GW across 10+ countries, from Germany to Romania, Canada, Serbia, Türkiye, Spain and Scotland. The headline deal: Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners reached financial close on the 392 MW Pestera II wind farm in Romania — a €510M package backed by Deutsche Bank, Erste Group and the European Investment Bank (EIB), with 56 Nordex Group turbines turning by 2028. Repeat buyers like wpd GmbH and NeXtWind keep coming back.
