🚛💧A milestone in Belgium: 100,000 km on hydrogen   Within the European H2Haul project, two 44-ton hydrogen trucks operated by Colruyt Group and equipped with technology from OPmobility, in collaboration with VDL ETS, have now surpassed 100,000 km in daily logistics operations across Belgium.   Real vehicles on the road, real daily routes, and real operational integration into existing freight systems.   These 350-bar hydrogen trucks, featuring OPmobility’s onboard storage systems (40 kg hydrogen capacity) and a 210 kWh battery pack, deliver around 450 km of zero-emission range. They are refuelled in operational conditions at the DATS24 hydrogen station, further validating the role of integrated infrastructure in enabling heavy-duty decarbonisation.   Scaling zero-emission freight requires coordinated progress across vehicles, infrastructure, and industrial partnerships. Projects like H2Haul demonstrate how this ecosystem is already taking shape in Europe, with industry players jointly proving that hydrogen are already serving demanding transport applications today.   👉 The technology is ready, the use cases are proven. The priority in Europe is now to unlock strong policy support to scale deployment, accelerate corridor development, and deliver a clean, competitive and resilient transport future.   #HydrogenMobility #HeavyDutyTransport #SustainableTransport #GHMA   📷 Colruyt Group
