Pushing the boundaries of hydropower #technology. ⚡💧 Global Hydro’s most powerful #Francis runners to date deliver an output of 40 MW each. These two units, each with an outer diameter of 1.5 m and a total weight of 2.5 t, were manufactured as replacement runners, supporting the #revitalization and efficiency improvement of an existing hydropower plant. To meet demanding operating conditions, the outer diameter of both runners were coated with HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel) at the customer’s request.
