Hayani explains that AI transforms these challenges by anticipating issues like rain fade or link degradation before they impact users and by using digital twins to simulate and identify optimal network configurations in a risk-free virtual environment. Ultimately, he concludes that the primary bottleneck for these AI models is not the algorithms themselves but the management of massive, dynamic data pipelines required to maintain reliable connectivity in highly distributed space environments.
