By automating repetitive tasks, filtering alert fatigue, and analyzing internal proprietary data, AI helps teams overcome systemic understaffing while regaining the upper hand against attackers operating at machine speed. The future of cybersecurity is rapidly moving from reactive, signature-based tools toward autonomous collaborators. Enterprises are investing heavily in agentic AI, which allows specialized multi-agent systems to work across functions—such as threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and incident response—to predict and preemptively contain threats before they fully materialize. However, as the industry scales toward automation, the report emphasizes that technology alone is not a silver bullet.
