The City Centre Mural Fund was launched by Glasgow City Council in 2014. It enables artists to apply for funding towards the costs associated with creating street art in the city centre. This improves the look and feel of the local environment, enhances perceptions of place, creates a welcoming atmosphere, and provides opportunities for artists to showcase their talents. These artworks bolster the reputation of Glasgow's arts community, and contribute to the city’s image as a cultural centre. However, we are always keen to understand how it might further improve project activity, and are looking for feedback to inform any future changes to encourage wider participation.
