The façade of the multi-award-winning Faculty of Fine Arts in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife, features LINIT®Ecoglass as a defining architectural element. Set on the edge of the university campus, the building’s striking curved form has become a landmark across the Canary Island skyline — an architectural statement that reflects openness, creativity, and clarity of design. Together with the structured reinforced concrete façade, the sandblasted LINIT®Ecoglass creates a protective envelope around more than 32,000 m² of usable space while maintaining a bright and welcoming atmosphere inside. The translucent U-glass softly diffuses daylight, enhancing the presentation of artworks and providing comfortable natural lighting for students and visitors alike. The façade design also supports the building’s functional concept by separating the academic studios from the public exhibition spaces — demonstrating how glass can contribute not only aesthetically, but also architecturally and functionally.
