The Libiąż Water Park in southern Poland is a compelling example of contemporary leisure architecture where daylight, materiality and energy performance work in perfect balance. Designed by Pro-Arch², the project demonstrates how translucent façades can create both architectural clarity and a high-quality user experience. A key element of the design concept is the use of LINIT®EcoGlass prismasolar with integrated thermal insulation. The profiled glass solution combines soft daylight diffusion, visual privacy and energy efficiency within a single façade system. The prismatic surface creates a glare-free, naturally illuminated atmosphere for the swimming and wellness areas while maintaining a calm and homogeneous spatial quality. In combination with translucent thermal insulation (TIM), the façade significantly improves thermal performance and supports the building’s holistic energy strategy. Large glazed surfaces can therefore be realised without compromising heating efficiency or user comfort. The architectural expression changes throughout the day: during daylight hours, the façade appears calm and textile-like; at night, the illuminated interior transforms the building into a subtle urban landmark with a warm and inviting presence.
