On Tuesday, we marked the groundbreaking of the new Patient Transfer Facility at Gladstone Airport, bringing together partners, stakeholders and community members to recognise this important milestone. It was a great opportunity to acknowledge the collaboration behind the project and the shared commitment to strengthening regional health infrastructure. Once complete, the purpose-built facility will support more than 700 aeromedical transfers each year, improving safety, efficiency and the experience for patients, families and clinical teams during critical moments.
