Givaudan is dedicated to academic excellence and human connection through science. Strengthening this commitment is the FragranceSyn Research Chair, a new, 5-year academic-industry partnership was inaugurated on July 6th at the Universite de Lorraine in Nancy, France.    The collaborative initiative - led by the creator of Myrissi™ Muriel Jacquot and sponsored by the University of Lorraine, the Greater Nancy Metropolitan Area, the Région Grand Est, and Givaudan – Fragrance & Beauty - explores the idea that fragrance contributes to shaping emotional experience, comfort, social connection and quality of life.    Featuring insightful speeches and roundtables, the inauguration also unveiled an immersive, multisensory room in which to conduct in-person research. As commented by Global Head of Science and Technology Fragrances, Jeremy Compton: “The topic explored by this research initiative is scientifically, industrially and socially significant. That’s why Givaudan’s Fragrance & Beauty, Health & Well-being and Active Beauty divisions were beyond excited to partner with the University of Lorraine in the quest to better understand, measure and predict the emotional impact of fragrances.” With Jeremy Compton, Simon Ellwood, Amandine Scandolera, Tyler M., Johan CHAILLE DE NERE #Givaudan #FragranceSyn
