Givaudan breaks ground on its new fragrances manufacturing facility in Pedro Escobedo, Mexico — strengthening its industrial footprint and commitment to customers across Latin America. The ceremony marks two key initiatives: the official opening of the expanded Fragrance & Beauty Ingredients facility, now fully operational, and the start of construction on a new greenfield Compounding Factory that will reach a capacity of up to 20,000–25,000 tons by 2029. Together, these projects represent a combined investment of over USD 160 million. As Christian Stammkoetter, CEO Givaudan, said: “This double milestone builds on a strong track record of investment at our Pedro Escobedo site. In 2024, Givaudan inaugurated an expanded production facility dedicated to encapsulation technologies, doubling capacity and now representing 40% of our global capability in this area.
