If you would like to hear the sound of the violin now kept in the house where the composer was born, listen to the album Tartini’s Violin released by the internationally renowned Genoa-based record label Dynamic in 2016. On it the Trieste-born Slovene violinist Črtomir Šiškovič, one of the world’s leading connoisseurs and interpreters of Tartini’s music, performs a selection of Giuseppe Tartini’s best-known sonatas on Tartini’s own violin, accompanied by Luca Ferrini (harpsichord and organ).
