GETTING TO THE CORE OF A MEDICANE https://lnkd.in/dHxV_-ET I’m delighted to share an European Space Agency - ESA web story highlighting newly developed Earth Observation (#EO) tools used to identify, characterise, and track Medicane #Jolina. These tools leverage both GEO and LEO satellite data, combining multi-sensor and multi-channel capabilities to improve our understanding of these complex Mediterranean weather systems. A big thank you to the entire ESA MEDICANES Project Team and the ESA Communication Team for bringing this work to life and showcasing such a valuable achievement. #EarthObservation #Medicanes #SatelliteData #Innovation #ClimateScience European Space Agency - ESA EUMETSAT NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration CNR-ISAC Mediterranean Center for Environmental Studies.
