Secret detection is only useful if your team can trust the findings. When results are mixed with test credentials, placeholder values, and example tokens, developers spend time clearing noise instead of fixing real exposures. GitLab 19.1 addresses this on two fronts. Secret detection now scans every commit on a new branch, not just the latest, so secrets introduced earlier in a branch no longer slip through. And Secret False Positive Detection, now generally available, adds a confidence score and an easy to understand explanation to each finding directly in the vulnerability report. Watch the demo to see how your team can focus on real risk, faster. https://lnkd.in/eTt4gK8x
