Discussing trade-offs between equally valid objectives is not easy - but we are making great progress. As we progress the work in GIRP on the revision of the Good Distribution Guidelines (GDP), we are over the next few days setting our overall priorities for what GDP should bring in the coming years. These are very productive discussions - and the consensus is clear. We can deliver the best level of patient safety with fewer administrative and economic burdens. We look forward to being able to share our thoughts in public in the coming months, and look forward to discussing them with inspectors, authorities, patients and other stakeholders. Albert G.
