Colombian Illustrator based in Hamburg | Helping brands & creatives tell their stories inspired by the vibrancy of Latin America | Rep. by Illustrationx - Die Illustratoren

I’m sharing a recent interview with Deutsche Welle about my latest project with dm-drogerie markt, where my illustrations were displayed across store facades in Germany. “The project becomes a statement on visibility and diversity: a Latin American artist occupying central spaces within German consumer culture, inviting pause, calm, and wonder in everyday environments. ” I reflect on my journey as a migrant in Germany, from dreaming of becoming an illustrator, through my studies, to working as a freelance illustrator, and how this path has shaped my artistic voice. This conversation also opens up themes of migration, identity, and the strength of the Latin American community in Europe. As a Colombian and Latin American artist, I am proud to represent my culture through my work. I believe migrant voices are not only present, but essential because we bring new perspectives, different knowledge, and creative force into the societies we become part of. https://lnkd.in/eqSMqFCs Many thanks to the whole team: journalist Pia Castro, Producer Israel Dehesa, Albert Steinberger, and Victor Cubillos. #MigrantVoices #Illustration #VisualStorytelling #FreelanceIllustrator #CulturalIdentity #LatinAmericanArtists #ArtCommunity
