First Gidget House opens in South Australia 🏠 We are thrilled to announce the official opening of our first Gidget House in South Australia, providing free individual and group psychological therapy services for expectant, new and potential parents. With 1 in 5 mothers and 1 in 10 fathers experiencing perinatal depression and anxiety (PNDA) each year, we know the need for support is significant. In the greater Adelaide area alone, around 5,200 parents are affected every year. Within the Playford area, where our new Gidget House has opened in Elizabeth, that’s approximately 560 parents who will need our support annually. By offering services in a welcoming environment like a shopping centre, we’re making support more accessible and creating a space where families feel comfortable seeking help with their young children.
