Whether your focus is on improving explosive ordnance detection, land release, explosive ordnance risk education, data-driven decision-making, or enabling technologies to revolutionize the way the mine action sector operates, we want to hear from you! Because great ideas come in all shapes and sizes, this year's award recognizes three categories of innovation: 1️⃣ Breakthrough: recognizes novel solutions that significantly improve efficiency, effectiveness, or quality in mine action, or fundamentally shift the way it works; 2️⃣ Frugal: we'll award simple, practical, low-resource solutions that are easy to implement, and ready to be replicated in real-world settings; 3️⃣ Scalable: this category focuses on field-tested solutions (Technology Readiness Level 6–7 or higher demonstrated in relevant or operational environment) that are ready to move into full operational deployment.   Winning idea(s) will be honoured with a prize of CHF 4,000 and support through the Mine Action Innovation Hub to help advance your solution.
