CEO & Founder at Elite Villas -Featured on Forbes “100 Women in charge” list 2023

Taking the Elite Villas team on a trip each year is one of the best decisions I made as a founder. This year we visited Villa Torre Alta and Villa Luce, two of our most spectacular new properties in Tuscany, and spent time with our partners in the region. Every year the location changes, but the purpose stays the same. We move fast, and it's rare that we actually slow down and sit around a table together. This trip is our annual reset, a chance to share what's been building and make sure the people I trust most can see where we're going and why. It also gives us the chance to walk the properties ourselves and feel what our guests feel. From the rooms to the bespoke experiences such as tennis lessons, wine tastings and personalised merch for each team member. Leadership isn't just about knowing where you're going. It's about making sure the people around you want to get there with you. To any founders reading this, how do you keep your team aligned and excited about what you're building?
