School is not only for academic work, but also an avenue for learners with talents and skills to display, be discovered, and be guided to greatness. In this spirit, the Ghana Education Service (GES), in collaboration with the National Schools and Colleges Sports Federation, proudly presents the 32nd Inter-Regional Senior High School Sports Festival. The event is a regional-based competition that brings together all 16 Regions of Ghana to showcase excellence, discipline, and sportsmanship. Students will compete in the following disciplines for both Boys and Girls: - Athletics - Badminton - Basketball - Football - Handball - Table Tennis Key Dates: 📌 Arrival: Saturday, 15th November 2025 📌 Games Competitions: 16th – 21st November 2025 📌 Athletics Meet: 22nd – 23rd November 2025 📌 Departure: Monday, 24th November 2025 The Director-General of GES, Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, and the Hon. Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, who both have keen interest in encouraging co & extra curricula activities, knowing their potential benefits to students, shall be there to superintend the activities. Venue: Ghana Senior High Technical School, Takoradi and the Sekondi Sports Stadium Guided by the theme “Ghana’s Future Champions Lie in Schools’ Sports”, the festival shows the GES' belief that the next generation of national and international sports icons can, and will, emerge from our schools.
