3,307 push-ups. And I know exactly who to blame. A few years ago, Martyn J Hill asked me to join The Push-Up Challenge. I remember thinking: sure, piece of cake. 🍰 A few days in, I had a more realistic view of cake. But we pushed through. Sore arms and all. And for a good cause: supporting mental health through The Push-Up Challenge. This year, Martyn asked again. At least this time I knew what I was getting into, which makes saying yes either more admirable or less intelligent. I’ll let others decide. Doing the daily push-ups with the time difference between Berlin and Australia adds a bit of extra planning, but apparently the challenge was not challenging enough already. Now that I had a few days in Perth, I had to catch up with the man responsible for all this. We managed to squeeze in a quick coffee yesterday, on the first day of the challenge. At that stage we still looked fairly positive about the whole thing. Let’s see if that outlook survives once the arms get heavier. Good to see you, Martyn. Keep pushing! And for anyone who would like to support mental health, I’ll put the link to the page in the comments. #PushUpChallenge #MentalHealth #Perth
