GFG International is actively looking for "Merchandiser" Job Location: Dhaka Job Responsibilities: Act as the main point of communication between the head office China Team and suppliers. Manage daily follow-ups on orders and developments, including: Communicating with suppliers Receiving, checking, and measuring samples personally Preparing comment sheets and ensuring only those samples that will be approved are sent out Handle order and development details with factories, maintaining an overview to Ensure orders are of the correct quality on-time delivery. Conduct regular visits to factories to oversee order follow up and production processes. (As Company cars may not always be available, Factory visits will be conducted using public transport or other locally available means of transportation, and expenses will be covered.) Report regularly to both your manager and the foreign head of Dhaka operations. Ensure excellent follow-up on all orders and developments you and your team are responsible for. Maintain strong, honest, and respectful relationships with vendors. Educational Requirements: BSc in Textile Skills Required: Liaison Office, Merchandising and Production. Experience Requirements: At least 5 year(s) Additional Requirements: Age at least 25 years Both males and females are allowed to apply. Strong communication skills to interact with head office, suppliers, and factories. Experience with sample management, including checking, measuring and technical knowledge to ensure that comments from our European office are well communicated to the supplier. Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a clear overview of orders and developments. A commitment to ensuring high-quality production and timely delivery. Willingness to visit factories regularly for inspections and follow-ups Ownership mentality.
