In Nuremberg’s Eberhardshof district, Das ESW - Evangelisches Siedlungswerk Siedlungswerk is developing 142 modern rental apartments. Located close to a busy railway line, protecting the building from vibration and noise was a key challenge from the very beginning. A full-surface base isolation system decouples the building from vibrations originating in the surroundings.
