Have you ever thought what you eat could affect your sleep? According to a recent NPR article, your diet may be just as important as your bedtime routine when it comes to getting quality rest. Research shows that what, and when you eat can influence how quickly you fall asleep, how deeply you rest, and how refreshed you feel the next day. Here are a few key takeaways: Eat more fiber: Diets high in fiber are linked to deeper, more restorative sleep. Better sleep starts long before your head hits the pillow - sleep smart, recover fully, and wake ready. Limit added sugar and saturated fats: These can lead to lighter, more disrupted sleep cycles. Time your meals: Eating too close to bedtime can interfere with melatonin production. Try complex carbs and foods with tryptophan (like oats or yogurt) in the evening to help your body naturally wind down. Be mindful of caffeine and alcohol, they’re both known sleep disruptors, especially when consumed late in the day Take a read here: https://lnkd.in/gWYywZ6H
