#CES has only just begun — and day one already set a pretty clear tone. Yesterday marked the start of #CES2026 in Las Vegas, and it was great to see how strongly #exoskeletons featured across the show floor. One thing felt unmistakable: It is no longer a niche conversation. At the #GermanBionic booth at the German Pavilion, interest was high throughout the day. Lots of hands-on demos, many deep conversations — and a steady stream of press stopping by right from the start. A strong kickoff. Some early media voices captured the shift well. Christophe Carl Louis summed it up like this in Robot-Magazine: “CES 2026 confirmed that the exoskeleton is no longer a marginal technology. It is becoming a tangible pillar of consumer and professional robotics. Devices like the Dephy, Inc. Sidekick or German Bionic’s Exia illustrate a clear trend: robotic #augmentation is moving from curiosity to practical human empowerment.” And Arthur Goldstuck highlighted in Gadget.co.za what sets German Bionic apart: “German Bionic focuses on occupational support with its #Exia #exoskeleton, designed to reduce strain during lifting and repetitive tasks in #logistics, #production and #care environments. The system builds on years of industrial deployment rather than consumer experimentation.” Exactly that: Real-world use, real work, real impact. Also a personal highlight — great to see Lara Lewington again at #CES26. Very curious to see what story she’ll tell from the show this year! Day one down, many more conversations to come. If you’re at CES: swing by the #GermanPavilion in Hall A, Stand 51242-18, and give Exia a try. #PhysicalAI #AugmentedAI #HumanAugmentation #Robotics #FutureOfWork #Exoskelett #Exosquelette #WorkplaceSafety
