يسعدنا أن نُعلن بكل فخر عن مشاركة طلبة جيوتك ومؤسِّسَي شركة Walkk الناشئة، ياسين العلوي وعمر برويز، في منتدى الأمم المتحدة للعلوم والتكنولوجيا والابتكار (STI Forum) في مدينة نيويورك، حيث أسهما في نقاشات رفيعة المستوى تناولت محاور الابتكار والتكنولوجيا والتنمية المستدامة. وقد أتاحت هذه المشاركة المتميزة للطلبة فرصة لقاء سعادة السفير عمر الكثيري، سفير وممثل سلطنة عُمان لدى الأمم المتحدة، وعدد من الممثلين الدوليين، وذلك لبحث موضوعات ريادة الأعمال والابتكار، ودور الشركات الناشئة في بناء اقتصادات المستقبل. كما التقيا في واشنطن العاصمة بسعادة السفير طلال الرحبي، سفير سلطنة عُمان لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، في خطوة تعكس الحضور المتنامي للابتكار العُماني والريادة الشبابية على الصعيد الدولي. تفتخر الجامعة إذ يجسّد حضور طلابها على منصات الأمم المتحدة التزام الجامعة الراسخ بتمكين جيل رائد من أصحاب الأفكار والمبادرات، القادرين على المساهمة الفاعلة في المشهد الاقتصادي والتكنولوجي العالمي. It is with great pride and distinction that we announce the participation of #GUtech students and Walkk co-founders, Yazan Al-Alawi and Omar Pervez, in the United Nations Science, Technology and Innovation Forum (STI Forum) held in New York City. The two representatives engaged in high-level global dialogues addressing innovation, technology, and sustainable development at one of the world’s most prominent international platforms. During their participation, they had the privilege of meeting with H.E. Omar Al Kathiri, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations, as well as other senior international representatives, to deliberate on matters of entrepreneurship, innovation, and the pivotal role of startups in shaping the economies of the future. Furthermore, they were received by H.E.
