Industrial Additive Manufacturing for Defence Readiness: This was our Workshop on 3D Print! 👇 Last week, we had the pleasure of co-hosting a workshop on 3D printing in the industrial defence sector together with MilUAS and Solid Ground (David Faller) at the Defence Hub Oslo. The event brought together experts and stakeholders from industry, research, and #defence to explore the growing role of additive #manufacturing in strengthening supply chains, increasing resilience, and enhancing operational readiness. 🛡️ Participants gained valuable insights into: ⭐ The current capabilities and future potential of industrial 3D printing ⭐ Concrete applications within defence and security contexts ⭐ Opportunities for cross-border collaboration between Germany and Norway ⭐ The importance of flexible and innovative manufacturing approaches in today’s evolving landscape The event was also a great place to share perspectives, experiences, and ideas for future cooperation. We would like to thank everyone there for their contributions and for making this workshop a success! 👏 Special thanks go to the speakers Tom Thorvaldsen (Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI), Birte Moyé (Bosch Business Innovations), Hendrik Jahnle (Bosch Industrial Additive Manufacturing), and Marina Kühn-Kauffeldt (Bundeswehr University Munich). Thanks for joining and sharing your insights! 🤝 #norwaygermany
