Today, the German-Kosovar Business Association (KDWV) welcomed the new GIZ Country Director in Kosovo, Mr. Markus D. Delfs , as well as Mr. David Oberhuber, who has led GIZ in Kosovo over the past years. The meeting marked the official introduction of Mr. Delfs and served as an opportunity to discuss future priorities and the strengthening of the strategic cooperation between KDWV and GIZ. Recognizing GIZ’s important role in supporting economic development, vocational education, and the private sector in Kosovo, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing cooperation in areas of mutual interest. During the meeting, the Executive Director of KDWV, Mr. Besnik Vasolli, expressed his appreciation to Mr. Oberhuber for his contribution to strengthening the partnership between KDWV and GIZ. The discussion also focused on the Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation in support of economic development and the advancement of professional skills in Kosovo. KDWV warmly welcomes Mr. Markus Delfs in his new role and looks forward to continuing its cooperation with GIZ through initiatives that contribute to Kosovo’s sustainable economic development.
