We are pleased to welcome Hussein Shoukry as a new Member of the Board of Directors of the German Emirati Joint Council for Industry & Commerce (AHK). As Managing Director of Siemens Energy for the Middle East and Africa since December 2025, Hussein leads operations across 29 offices in the region, overseeing a workforce of more than 4,000 employees and supporting one of the region’s most significant energy portfolios. With over two decades of experience within Siemens and Siemens Energy, Hussein has held a range of senior leadership positions across tendering, engineering, manufacturing and project execution. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President for Project Execution at Siemens Energy, where he led a global team of more than 3,500 professionals delivering large-scale turnkey projects worldwide. Having worked across Europe and the Middle East, Hussein brings deep expertise in energy infrastructure, transformation and the evolving dynamics of the global energy transition. His international leadership experience and strategic perspective will be a valuable addition to our Board and the wider German business community in the region. We look forward to benefiting from Hussein’s extensive expertise and insights as we continue to foster dialogue between industry leaders, support the region’s evolving energy landscape and strengthen bilateral economic cooperation.
