From New York to Boston: Strengthening transatlantic partnerships in Lightweight Construction & Additive Manufacturing 🇩🇪🇺🇸 Following a successful start in New York, the delegation continued its program in Boston with additional market insights, business meetings, site visits, company presentations, and meaningful transatlantic exchange.   The Boston program included: • A site visit at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with special thanks to Glenn Wong for welcoming the delegation and sharing valuable insights into MIT’s innovation ecosystem • Meetings with Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and Massachusetts Innovation Network, with special thanks to Lily Fitzgerald, Sophia Kambanis, and Asha Patel for supporting the exchange and sharing important perspectives on the regional innovation ecosystem • The German American Lightweight & Additive Manufacturing Evening Reception at CIC (Cambridge Innovation Center), bringing together German delegation companies and U.S. industry representatives for company presentations, expert insights, panel discussion, and networking opportunities  • A tour at Autodesk, with special thanks to Andrew Friendly and Eliana Ochieng for welcoming the delegation and sharing expert insights • The evening reception featured welcome remarks by Consul General Dr. Sonja Kreibich, a keynote by Christine McBeth from Fraunhofer USA Inc., presentations by the German companies, and an engaging panel discussion with Adam Jenkins, Frank Marangell, Jeffrey DeGrange (FSME, AMUG 🦕), Schendy K., and Ben Arnold (AMUG 🦕). The delegation trip is part of the German Market Entry Program (Markterschließungsprogramm (MEP), funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE).
