⚽ 🇩🇪 The German House of Soccer is officially open! On June 12th, we were excited to celebrate the opening reception of the DFB’s German House of Soccer in New York City! The evening brought together DFB partners, GACC NY members, and hundreds of friends of the German-American community to mark the official opening and the start of the World Cup. The program was kicked off by the DFB management team, including Bernd Neuendorf, Dr. Holger Blask, Rudi Völler, and Andreas Rettig, who shared welcome remarks and spoke about the World Cup, as well as the role of the German House of Soccer in bringing fans together in New York. Guests also enjoyed special video messages from German House of Soccer ambassadors Ann-Katrin Berger and Jürgen Klinsmann. A special highlight was the ceremonial keg tapping, officially declaring the German House of Soccer open. Over the next few weeks, the German House of Soccer will host a diverse program, including watch parties, Germany Day on June 22nd, and special appearances by German soccer legends.
