I'm really pleased the model of Wah Fu Estate our Yr 4 HKU students made as part of their semester 1 studio last year, and their designs for alternatives to demolition are being used as part of the consultation and debate around the future of the estate with the Hong Kong Housing Authority. The academic community - both academics and students - is such an amazing resource for exploring real contemporary urban issues in collaboration with policy makers, landowners, building managers, housing associations and local authorities. It's great to be part of the conversation.
