RockPlane NX is the new web app in the GeoStru NX suite for slope stability analysis of rock blocks under planar failure mechanism (Hoek-Bray). Everything in a single web app — no installations, no hardware keys. Available in 6 languages (English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Romanian). In this 5-minute tour: → Block geometry with Hoek-Bray parameters: slope height, face angle, failure plane angle, tension crack. Cross-section updates in real time. → Material: classical Mohr-Coulomb or non-linear Barton-Bandis (with JRC and JCS). For rock joints at low normal stress, the software computes roughness dilatancy automatically. → Water in four configurations: ponded, uplift, tension-crack thrust, triangular or uniform distribution. Consistent with the Hoek-Bray theoretical manual. → Pseudo-static seismic loading per NTC and Eurocode 8. Configurable horizontal, vertical and direction. FS and toppling update in real time. → Reinforcement catalog: design resistance per NTC 2018 (par. 6.6 anchors, par. 6.7 passive bolts). Three limit states + Clouterre shear check. → Mesh catalog: cortical mesh in adhesion or high-strength cable-net panels. Design capacity (q or τ) derived from mesh and bolt pattern. → Deterministic auto-design: set the required FS and reinforcement type, the software computes rows, positions and spacing in milliseconds. Closed-form, reproducible. → AI auto-design: built-in AI comments on the design, flags installation issues, proposes refinements with rationale. → Rotatable 3D view: prismatic block, reinforcement, cortical mesh — all navigable with the mouse. → Alpha-critical sweep: RockPlane tests every kinematically admissible angle and tells you which is the worst. → One-click export: structured Word report, DXF for AutoCAD, high-resolution SVG/PNG vector graphics. Direct opening in Trispace NX (web CAD editor of the suite). → Calculation report compliant with NTC 2018 and Eurocode 7, eight sections plus a Validation annex, ready for sign-off.
