It was an honour to sit down and talk with Mete Coban MBE, Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy, at the Green Futures Event this week. We discussed how London is leading the transition to net zero, and, most importantly, the crucial role that young people will play in shaping that journey. Mete spoke passionately about the green jobs and skills that will define the future of our city, and shared how City Hall is working to ensure that every young Londoner has access to the opportunities emerging from the green economy. It was fantastic to see so many students from across London engaging with the ideas and imagining how they can contribute to a more sustainable and fair future. A huge well done to the team at The London Clean Air Initiative for your hard work bringing this event together. #GreenFuturesEvent #NetZero #Sustainability #GreenJobs #London #YouthOpportunities
