Congratulations to Dr Lauren Heath on receiving a prestigious National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Postgraduate Scholarship, awarded to just 67 outstanding graduates in 2025 through a $10.1 million Australian Government investment to support the next generation of health and medical researchers. Lauren's scholarship will fund research into the role of aldosterone in high blood pressure and kidney disease—conditions affecting millions of Australians—and provide an opportunity to better understand this link and how emerging therapies can be used more safely and effectively.
