6th International Conference – Tourism & Education 📚Workshop | Producing a Shared Action Plan for Tourism & Hospitality Skills Development in Georgia. Strengthening Business Membership Organizations in the governance of vocational education and training - primary partner: Georgian Tourism Association (GTA). 25 July, The @Telegraph Hotel Workshop was led by Jane (Rexworthy) Whitehart OBE, FInstLM Chartered FCIPD - #GIZ 📚As part of the 6th International Conference – Tourism & Education, stakeholders from the public sector, private industry, education institutions, and international partner organizations came together to develop a shared action plan for tourism and hospitality skills development in Georgia, in the framework of Education & Skills Committee GTA. The workshop focused on identifying priority actions to strengthen collaboration between industry and education, improve workforce skills, expand work-based learning opportunities, and ensure that education and training respond to the evolving needs of the tourism and hospitality sector. Through open dialogue and joint planning, participants laid the foundation for a coordinated roadmap that will support a more skilled, competitive, and sustainable tourism workforce in Georgia. Thank you to all participants for their valuable contributions, commitment, and collaborative spirit. Together, we are shaping the future of tourism and hospitality education in Georgia.
