In the heart of the Chamonix Valley, in the Plaine des Praz area, Résidence La Cordée redefines the concept of contemporary alpine living. Designed by TEMA Architectes of Sallanches, the project transforms a former tourist facility into a residential complex of 80 apartments, overlooking a lake and framed by views of Mont Blanc and the Brévent/Flégère massif. The façades of the 8 buildings are clad in Murogeopietra® Rivarolo and define a continuous material language, where stone alternates with glass and balconies, naturally integrating the architecture into the alpine landscape. A building envelope that is not only aesthetic, but also performance-driven: breathability, resistance to thermal shock, propagation of fire and wind pressure become integral parts of the project, contributing to a balance between living comfort and energy efficiency.
