#Customs & #Trade compliance are becoming critical business issues for companies operating internationally. 📦 At recent GEODIS events in France and Sweden, discussions focused on the very concrete challenges companies are currently facing: evolving U.S. customs regulations, tariff increases, tighter regulatory enforcement, and opportunities linked to duty recovery and refund mechanisms such as U.S. duty drawback programs. We had also the honor to welcome representatives of the French Customs Authorities sharing valuable insights on transatlantic regulations, compliance challenges, and European customs modernization. Florence Molinari, SVP Global Customs Brokerage Product, Global Freight Forwarding at GEODIS, joined a panel discussion with Hélène Decarpentrie, Transport Manager at OVH cloud and Nicolas de Messy, Logistic Flows Category Manager at Serge Ferrari Group, to discuss the concrete operational and compliance challenges companies are facing in today’s evolving trade environment. Present at both the France and Sweden events, Brian Riley, SVP Customs Brokerage, Americas at GEODIS, provided detailed insights into evolving U.S. customs regulations, tariff developments, and duty recovery opportunities, while also sharing practical solutions to help customers better anticipate U.S. regulatory changes.
