It takes a village – and Millmerran shows up every year. A huge shout-out to our incredible team for continuing to make breast cancer awareness a priority. From group stretching to sharing cupcakes, they’ve created a culture of care and connection that truly matters. 🩷 🎗️ Last month, we welcomed the Blush Cancer Care team onsite to share vital insights on breast health and early detection. These conversations save lives. Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women in Australia, and yes, it can affect men too. The stats speak volumes: 📍 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime 📍 1 in 612 men will face the same challenge The good news? Australia has one of the best survival rates in the world, thanks to early detection and community support 💪. For the past 10 years, Blush has been supporting breast cancer patients across the Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley, from diagnosis through to treatment and beyond. Its Cancer Care team knows what local patients and families need when impacted by a diagnosis and works collaboratively with medical professionals to provide a complete model of care based on up-to-date clinical guidelines. By hosting these sessions, the Millmerran team plays a vital role in that mission to create awareness within the communities in which they live and work. Thank you, team, for showing up, supporting, and making awareness a priority every single year. Your commitment makes a real difference. #BreastCancerAwareness #CommunityCare #TeamMillmerran #EarlyDetectionSavesLives Pictured: Anas Akber Jeelani, Graham Hathway, Sarah Wielandt (Blush Cancer Care), Tahlia Pauli (Blush Cancer Care), Bianca Gill.
